Essen Games Fair and the Czech Republic

APS Ltd will be taking a short hiatus in a couple of weeks to attend the Essen Games Fair (Spiel ’12)  in Germany.

This yearly event is the biggest event celebrating all forms of offline gaming in Europe.  Board games, card games, role play games: even comics and life size foosball get a look in.  APS will be attending in the guise of our sister company Surprised Stare Games, headed by Alan Paull and Tony Boydell.

Alan and Charlie will then be off to the Czech Republic where Alan will be heading up a two day workshop for the School for Transformative Leadership, Palacky University in Olomouc on Systems Thinking through Playing Strategy Games, artfully blending his knowledge and expertise from APS Ltd with one of his great loves: strategy games.
